Role: Application Enterprise Architect Preferred Location: Reston, VA (Onsite)     Description:   •             10 years of experience •             Architecture Drift Detection & Telemetry •             Develop automated mechanisms to detect architectural drift across applications, platforms, infrastructure, and integration points. •             Define, evolve, and maintain architecture telemetry models that capture system behavior, configuration, compliance signals, and architecture health indicators. •             Integrate drift detection controls and telemetry instrumentation into CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments in partnership with domain architects and platform engineering teams. •             Produce dashboards, alerts, and metrics that visualize adherence to architecture standards and highlight deviations, risks, and trends. •             Architecture as Code & Policy as Code •             Translate architecture principles, guardrails, patterns, and non functional requirements into machine verifiable rules. •             Implement and maintain policy as code frameworks to automate architectural governance. •             Model and manage architecture data structures and metadata to support automated analysis, lineage, and decisioning. •             Solution Evaluation & Architecture Governance •             Conduct solution evaluations, trade off analyses, and impact assessments grounded in measurable architectural criteria. •             Ensure alignment between business strategies, solution architectures, and technical implementations. •             Contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and design guidance. •             AI Driven Analysis & Insight Generation •             Use advanced AI prompt techniques—especially Microsoft Copilot Chat—to analyze architecture data, generate insights, recommend solutions, and support decision making. •             Apply prompt engineering best practices to create reusable prompt libraries, templates, and workflows for architecture and engineering teams. •             Communication & Leadership •             Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to technical and non technical audiences. •             Prepare executive ready presentation materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Confluence, and other collaboration tools. •             Present insights, recommendations, risks, and findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Qualifications •             Proven experience in architecture drift detection, architecture as code, policy as code, or architecture telemetry. •             Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices. •             Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering and applied AI usage for technical analysis and solution creation. •             Excellent communication, documentation, and executive level presentation
