Job Title: Performance Engineer - MySQL
Location: NYC, NY (Onsite work – 5 Days)
Contract: 12+ Months with possible extension

Job Description: Focus on Performance and Load; Strong Experience with Maria DB and MySQL; Analyze and tune database behavior under load (query/index optimization, lock and replication-lag analysis); Monitor DB saturation (connections, IOPS, buffer pool); Pinpoint database bottlenecks and advise on scaling (instance upgrades, schema separation, sharding, etc).
